Mary Stryker - Office Manager
Patient Relations Coordinator
Mary Stryker has been with Stryker Orthodontics from day one! (May 1994) Accounts payable seems to be what she does the most of but she also runs errands, does the office newsletter, and all the behind the scene things that need to be done to make sure things run smoothly. She has been Dr. Stryker’s wife since 1982. To Mary it has been amazing to watch the practice grow through the years, thanks to the dedication of Dr. Stryker and the team. In Mary’s spare time she likes to read and hang out with the cutest, most loveable dogs ever!

Shellee Bertram - Treatment Coordinator
Certified Orthodontic Assistant
Shellee Bertram is one of our Treatment Coordinators. She has been with Stryker Orthodontics since May 1994, when the practice opened. She has worked in the dental field for over 25 years. Her experience, knowledge, and caring attitude is brought to each initial exam and allows the patients and their families to feel comfortable with their decision to start treatment with our office. Shellee and her husband, Dave, have three awesome sons, Logan, Matt and Colin, a beautiful daughter, Callee-Mae and a precious grandson, Easton. When Shellee has spare time she enjoys reading, going wine tasting, sewing, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Fun Facts: She makes weighted blankets for kids with autism through Project Linus.

Denise Hendrix - Lab Technician
Certified Orthodontic Assistant
Denise Hendrix has been with Stryker Orthodontics since May of 1996. She is our Lab Technician and resident birthday cake baker. She makes sure that Dr. Stryker and all the team members have their favorite cake or pie for their birthdays. Denise married Jerry Hendrix in 1983. They have 2 amazing boys, Jory and Nicholas who live in Springfield. She has 1 cat, Reagan, 3 fish, Jacob, Edward, and Bella, and 3 dogs, Shaggy, Lucky, and Winston. Denise would have many, many more dogs if she was allowed! Ha Ha! She loves to read, garden, sew, paint, and cook. If anyone knows Denise they are aware she can’t sit still for very long.
Fun Fact: Christmas is the BEST time of the year, she LOVES the snow and LOVES to decorate. She has 26 Christmas trees in her house at Christmas!

Cheryl Amos - Financial Coordinator
Billing and Insurance Processor
Cheryl Amos began her dental career with the Stryker Orthodontic team in 1998. As our Financial Coordinator she is in charge of our insurance billing and accounts receivable. Cheryl is also a part-time Treatment Coordinator. Her experience and personable touch helps keep our office running smoothly. Cheryl and her husband, Joe live on a farm and raise Limousine cattle. She has two wonderful children, Josh and Jessica. Outside the office she can be found spending her time gardening, camping and going to the beach! Cheryl loves to be outdoors, enjoying the sunshine.

Melinda Mertens - Scheduling Coordinator

Melinda Mertens is our full time Scheduling Coordinator. She started working at Stryker Orthodontics in November 2004. She resides in Rolla and works primarily out of the Waynesville office. Melinda is married to Scott who is a Criminal Investigator with Missouri State Highway Patrol. They have 4 amazing, very active sons, Tanner, Eli, Aiden and Jude. Melinda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, attending church and watching her boys play soccer.

Natalie Ness - Treatment Coordinator
Certified Orthodontic Assistant
Natalie Ness has been a part of the Stryker Orthodontic team since 2002. She is currently working chairside as an Orthodontic Assistant. Natalie was a patient of Dr. Stryker’s prior to becoming a member of the Stryker Team. She loves to meet with patients and their families during their initial visit Natalie has been married to her wonderful husband, Paul, since Aug. 1987. They have 2 magnificent children, a daughter, Brittany and a son, Thomas. Natalie enjoys spending time with family, traveling (especially to Int’l Falls, MN where she was born and raised), boating, and anything outside. Oh, and most would say she enjoys a little bit of shopping too!
Fun Fact: She grew up a figure skater!

Mindi Russell - Orthodontic Assistant
Mindi Russell has been with Stryker Orthodontics since December 2000. She is an Orthodontic Assistant. She loves working directly with the patients and has her own way of making each patient feel like they are her favorite. Mindi and her husband Tommy have been married since February 1991. They have 3 awesome sons, Nathan, Brennan, and Tyler. In Mindi’s spare time she likes to cook, clean, landscape, and spend time with the most spoiled yorkie in the world named Max!!

KaCee Coffman - Certified Orthodontic Assistant
KaCee Coffman has been working for Dr. Stryker since June 2009 as an Orthodontic Assistant. She graduated from Lebanon High School and was active playing volleyball, running track and was on a few committees. She grew up with 7 brothers and sisters! So getting together is always fun and crazy. She can’t keep up with all of them!! KaCee also attends Phillipsburg Christian Church and loves it! Some hobbies include shopping, planting flowers, swimming, and riding bikes. She’s also a Twilight fan! So if KaCee’s reading, it will be one of those books! Don’t judge her!! Ha ha.
Fun Facts: KaCee is a huge river rat that can’t swim! She was LHS Homecoming Queen in 2005.

Marla Laval - Part Time Scheduling Coordinator
Marla Laval is a Scheduling Coordinator in our Lebanon office. She will be happy to answer any questions you may have, or schedule your next appointment. Marla has been with the Stryker Orthodontics team since 2007. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Steven and 2 children, Bryce and Olivia and cooking delicious healthy snacks for the whole team. She likes to spend a few quiet minutes in the morning with a cup of hot tea and the Bible.
Fun Fact: Dr. Stryker and the team always look forward to the days that Marla works, because they know she will bring in one of her wonderful desserts to share with all.

Samantha Salazar- Records Technician
Samantha Salazar joined Stryker Orthodontics in February of 2011 as our Records Technician. Sam and her husband, Thomas, have 2 wonderful sons, Isaiah and Zavior. Sam came to the area by way of the military, her husband Thomas has served in the US Army since 2008 and was recently named Soldier Western Region/Soldier of the Year. Sam enjoys shopping, watching movies and spending time with her family.
Fun Facts: Sam was a hostess at a popular hotel on San Antonio’s Riverwalk and had the opportunity to meet many celebrities and professional athletes.

Donna Durham- Orthodontic Assistants
Donna Durham is one of our Orthodontic Assistants; she joined the team in March of 2011. Donna worked as an orthodontic assistant in Oklahoma before moving to Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. when her husband, Justin, was stationed here by the US Army. Donna has a beautiful daughter, Caitlyn, and an Australian shepherd named Rosie. In her spare time, she enjoys walking, running and spending time with her family. Donna and her family love attending the Lebanon Family Church in Lebanon, Mo.
Fun Fact: Donna was an MP in the US Army for 5 years, so watch your dental hygiene—this is a woman that knows how to make things happen!!!

Melanie Feeney- Scheduling Coordinator
Melanie Feeney began her dental career with Stryker Orthodontics in March 2011 as a Scheduling Coordinator. She also assists the Financial Coordinator in insurance billing and accounts receivable. Melanie’s husband, Matt, is a John Deere Sales Representative at Donald Farm and Lawn. They have a wonderful son, Luke, who has been the reason for their proudest moments. Melanie loves being at home or spending time with friends and family. She enjoys life to its fullest.
Fun Facts: Likes Sci-Fi movies Dislikes: Meat except for hamburger! Just like her sister Melinda Mertens—who is also a part of the Stryker Team!!!

Heather Powell- Professional Relations Coordinator
Heather Powell joined the Stryker Team in March of 2011 as our Professional Relations Coordinator. This means she takes the lead to keep our referring dental offices informed on ‘what’s new’ at Stryker Orthodontics, so that we can work together to see that our patients receive the best care available. Heather and her husband, Brandon, have 2 wonderful sons, Hudson and Maddox. Heather comes to us with an extensive background in marketing and sales.
Fun Fact: Heather likes crocheting and photography—she prefers to take family pictures—especially ones of her two little boys.
